2023/10/30 Welcome the Vietnamese resource recycling delegation to come to visit GGM

The "2023 Renewable Resources and Waste Recycling Forum," organized by E-Titanium International Inc. and the Chinese Productivity Center, co-organized by the Plastics Industry Development Center with guidance from the Ministry of Environment, took place on October 25th at the GIS Taichung Wenxin Convention Center. During this event, Zih-Siang, Lin, Leader/Researcher, Sustainable Streagy Group of the Plastics Center, shared insights on Taiwan's circular economy development and sustainable practices for small and medium -sized enterprises. Additionally, Mr. Ho Chun-Chang, Co-founder of UniGreenTek Ltd., was invited to present the company's benchmark cases in resource recycling and reuse, receiving acclaim from domestic and international industry players.

Beyond facilitating exchanges within Taiwan's industry, the forum welcomed Tran Viet Anh, President of the Waste Recycling Association of Vietnam, leading a delegation to share Vietnam's current status and established circular solution systems in both the official and corporate sectors. The forum provided a platform for in-depth exchanges between professionals in the recycling and regeneration field from Taiwan and Vietnam, aiming to implement Taiwan's Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) system and successful recycling experiences in Vietnam.

Global Green Material Co., Ltd had the honor of being part of the Vietnamese delegation's visit. On the first day, they visited a waste plastic container recycler in collaboration with the Ministry of Environment, where detailed explanations were provided regarding the implementation and processes of Taiwan's EPR system. The Vietnamese delegation placed great emphasis on the EPR system, intending to introduce it in Vietnam soon. Global Green Material Co., Ltd shared practical challenges encountered in the process.

The second stop was a visit to Global Green Material Co., Ltd, where the delegation learned about the processing and regeneration of post-consumer plastic containers into recycled plastic pellets. Global Green Material also shared their compounding, coloring techniques, and achievements, making it easier for manufacturers to use these recycled materials and increase the percentage of recycled content.

In the future, we hope to have the opportunity to visit Vietnam and engage in exchanges, aiming to replicate Taiwan's successful model and experiences overseas. This would enable the practical implementation and deep-rooting of "sustainable recycling" in more locations.
